The Victorian age: Paula's birthday

In an age of conformity, capitalism and materialism; the carnivalesque encounters many a difficulty in featuring in the course of our lives. The extra-ordinary and indeed that which, alas, is different to the mundane monotony of everyday life are notions that seem to have been forgotten somewhat by society.
